I don’t know about you, but I dread losing my marbles. That’s why I was impressed with a recent article in Nature Metabolism on the relationship between exercise and Alzheimer’s disease.
To summarize, the article explains how a hormone called “irisin” could decrease neuroinflammation. Irisin dramatically improves memory in mice through a positive impact on the hippocampus where memories are stored.
Here’s why I’m sharing this with fellow Healthragites: Irisin levels dramatically increase when we exercise.
